Lifestyle for Cancer Prevention: What SurvivHERS Need to Know - Amy Comander, MD

What you do every day matters — especially after cancer. Research shows that lifestyle choices, including physical activity, nutrition, sleep, and stress management, can meaningfully reduce the risk of recurrence and improve long-term health outcomes for cancer survivors. In this empowering session, Dr. Amy Comander — breast oncologist, lifestyle medicine specialist, and creator of the PAVING the Path to Wellness program at Mass General — translates the latest evidence into practical, accessible guidance for women who have been through cancer treatment and are ready to take an active role in their health. Dr. Comander will cover what the science actually says about diet, exercise, alcohol, weight, and other lifestyle factors in cancer prevention and survivorship — cutting through the noise to give survivors the clear, actionable information they deserve.
