OncoMenopause Consortium and HERmedicine

The OncoMenopause Consortium is a dedicated education initiative of HERmedicine, created to address the critical and often overlooked intersection of menopause and cancer survivorship. Operating within the same national 501(c)(3) nonprofit structure, the Consortium is governed by the HERmedicine Board of Directors and guided by a dedicated OncoMenopause Education Committee.

The Consortium serves both clinicians and individuals navigating life after cancer, advancing evidence-based education, fostering multidisciplinary collaboration, and improving care delivery for menopause and long-term survivorship health. Its programming is designed to support clinicians in delivering informed, coordinated care while also empowering survivHERs with trustworthy education, connection, and community.

By bringing together experts across oncology, internal medicine, gynecology, endocrinology, nursing, psychology, pharmacy, and sexual health—alongside survivor voices—the Consortium works to close persistent gaps in knowledge, practice, and lived experience.

HERmedicine, founded by Lisa Larkin, MD, FACP, MSCP, IF, provides the broader platform that supports this work. As the parent nonprofit, HERmedicine advances women’s health through unbiased, expert-led education and accessible resources across the lifespan.

Together, HERmedicine and the OncoMenopause Consortium form a coordinated, mission-driven ecosystem—one that strengthens evidence-based care, supports clinicians, and empowers survivHERs with the knowledge and community they need to thrive after cancer.
